The Basic 170 Super MT combines two machines in one and is fully equipped for use in virtually any application.
The milling unit is mounted to a custom reinforced machine bed and provides the following features:
- Rigid column and compact size with height-adjustable gear head
- Manual transmission with wide speed range from 52 to 2180 rpm across 8 steps
- 400 V drive with excellent torque and performance under load
- An MT3 spindle mount accommodates a wide variety of drilling and milling tools
- A 60 mm quill stroke allows deep hole drilling
- Micro-adjustments of quill stroke for precise feeds on Z axis for milling processes
- Head swivels 90-º to the left and to the right, and the entire unit swivels around the column
