Although in many ways similar to our dms 900 this lathe with its much heavier construction and larger 1 HP induction motor will appeal to the professional or committed turner who is looking for that higher specification in a more powerfulmachine. Distinguished also by its impressive specification, the dms 1100 weighs in at 92 kg and offers 1,050 mm between centres and 355 mm turning diameter over the bed. For those large turning projects it has the advantage of a swiveling headstock. Ten spindle speeds and the advanatges of both clockwise and anti-clockwise spindle rotation, the scheppach dms 1100 offers a heavy duty lathe at light duty cost.
